Building productive relationships with prominent, high profile figures in business, entertainment, arts, Wall Street, film, fashion, real estate development, technology and various businesses sectors, Tam has established herself as a trusted advisor, an experienced Property & Casualty risk manager and dynamic entrepreneur. She thrives on positive and conscientious business transactions and is a ‘roll up your sleeves’, hands-on leader who encourages everyone around her to embrace life and business in an energetic and exciting way.

As an inquisitive person who really cares about how things work, Tam continuously expands her horizons. She has a wide entrepreneurial streak which has led her to stints with the consultant Hal Marcus and with a behavioral sciences company that has a highly proprietary methodology for interpreting and understanding human behavior. She also launched an international fashion company as Executive Director and soon thereafter she also became the lead designer, holding both titles in the company. Tam has also owned and managed an organic cake and desserts company. This wide range of experience, interest and dedication has given Tam extraordinary insight on life’s risks – and how to mitigate them.

Above all, in her work, Tam enjoys directly relating to people, listening to what they say and helping them through their greatest challenges. Throughout all her experience Tam as been an insurance broker and risk manager for the over 25 years. Presently Tam serves as the Executive Vice President of Ventura Insurance Brokerage where she provides sophisticated, extensive risk management services to her clients with a focus on Private Client Practice, Film & Entertainment, Fine Arts Risk Management, Aviation and Business. Tam is President and Co-Founder of NorthPoint Brokerage, a specialty insurance brokerage with an online focus. Tam is also the President and founder of St. Armand Ventures, a boutique business transaction/venture banking firm that is also known for providing extraordinary networking experiences for high level executives. Tam is most excited about the cross client opportunities that she is able to develop and work into her business model.
